Mi Humidor Wacota — mobile application
This section supplements the general privacy policy and applies specifically to the mobile application Mi Humidor Wacota, available on the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).
App support email: app@wacota.com
Data collected by the application
Mi Humidor Wacota does not collect, store or transmit any personal data to external servers.
All information entered by the user — cigars, brands, tasting experiences, photographs, ratings and notes — is stored exclusively on the user’s device using the standard technology of each platform (UserDefaults on iOS; Jetpack DataStore on Android), both based on local device storage with no synchronisation or backup to any server.
Permissions requested by the application
The application may request access to the following device resources:
- Photo gallery: only if the user chooses to add a photograph to a tasting experience. The application accesses only the image consciously selected by the user, not the rest of the gallery. On Android, this is handled through the system’s own photo picker, which does not require granting any additional permission to the application.
These permissions are optional. The application works fully without granting them.
Third-party services
The application does not integrate any third-party services that collect user data, including analytics tools, advertising networks, tracking services or social networks.
In-app purchases
If the application incorporates in-app purchases in the future, these will be managed entirely through the corresponding store system (Apple App Store or Google Play Billing, depending on the platform). Wacota & Wanagu, S.L. does not have access to the user’s payment data at any time.
Age rating
The application is rated for users aged 17 and over on the Apple App Store, in line with Apple’s guidelines for tobacco-related content. On Google Play, the application receives the corresponding age rating according to the IARC content rating system applicable in each region. The application is not directed at minors.
Data security
Since all data is stored locally on the user’s device, its security depends on the protection measures provided by the operating system: device encryption, passcode or pattern lock, and biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID on iOS; fingerprint or facial recognition on Android).
User rights
Since Wacota & Wanagu, S.L. does not store any user data on its systems, there is no personal information in our possession to manage. For any questions, please contact us at app@wacota.com and we will respond within a maximum of 30 days.
If you reside in the European Union, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
